Women are a larger part of the labor force than ever before in the U.S., but society is still not always kind to women who step out of the boundaries of what's considered acceptable. But none of it obscures or in any way detracts from the undeniable truth that these are some of the most beautiful, creative, and uniquely adorned people in the world. That in fact the attention these people are getting from tourists and photographers is encouraging them to show off and thus changing their cultural practices from what they were in isolation. There’s enough drama here to fuel the plot of an episode of Gossip Girl and I ate it all up with a spoon. ![]() This is the story of Cora, the receptionist and pierce person (is that the proper term?) at the Marked and Rule’s older brother, Rome. Rome, Crownover’s third book in the series, showcases the fact that the Marked Men just get better and better with each addition to the series. I really totally do not regret my binge read of the Marked Men series, I think that it only has enhanced my enjoyment of each book. ![]() |
